Our Mission
The Mental Health Counselors of Central Central Florida (MHCCF) is an organization dedicated to advancing professional competency, as well as clarifying and strengthening the role of the Mental Health Counselor in our community.


Our Organization
The membership of MHCCF is composed of psychotherapists in private practice, employed counselors, academic faculty, Registered Interns, and students. The purpose of organizing is to strengthen the mental health counseling profession by: encouraging licensure; continuing education: increasing awareness and participation in the legislative process; and enhancing relationships with other professionals.

MHCCF is a chapter of the Florida Mental Health Counselors Association (FMHCA) which is a division of the American Mental Health Counselors Assocation (AMHCA).

This is a web site for professional counselors and the development of professional counselors. If you have a counseling emergency, please call 911.
